I am an American who has lived in England since 1989. I have enjoyed a variety of business roles as a worker, manager and leader.  I believe the business competencies that contributed to my success include:

  • Living in and influencing uncertainty
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills;
  • Enjoying tackling complex problems;
  • Being organized;
  • Having the ability to think laterally.

My success also relied on my personal competencies such as a sense of humour and a real belief that people are the centre of an enterprise.
